My company, Indianapolis Superstructures, LLC is a custom builder specializing in the construction of insulating concrete form (ICF) homes in Central Indiana.
ICF’s are hollow foam blocks which are stacked into the shape of the exterior walls of a home, reinforced with steel rebar and then filled with concrete. Insulating concrete forms combine one of the finest insulating materials, Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), with one of the strongest structural building materials, steel reinforced concrete. I’m sure you will agree that a home is much more than a house - each of us can intuitively tell the difference. We each have our own unique feelings, perceptions and dreams. However, there are several definable architectural features that help make a house a home and they should be carefully considered in the design phase. In general, these attributes involve space, light and order. If you don’t employ an architect, we will work with you to help ensure that your finished house is, in fact, a home for you and your family.
Indianapolis Superstructures, LLC is a new company founded by a not-so-new professional engineer. I bring to the company over 25 years of building systems design and construction management experience. My experience ranges from energy conservation studies to systems design for diverse types of commercial/industrial buildings to design/build projects for the National Security Agency.
We are a Christian oriented company and as part of our support of the local Christian community, we provide consulting services related to energy conservation and website development to local churches. These services are on a no-fee basis.
